Belynda Reck

Belynda Reck is vice president, assistant general counsel for Southern California Edison, one of the nation’s largest utilities. She leads SCE's litigation practice, which is always active, particularly since the 2017/2018 wildfires. Additionally, she oversees the department’s Claims Litigation, Commercial Litigation and Licensing & Land Use sections. Reck joined SCE in 2019.

Prior to SCE, Reck was a mass torts litigation partner at K&L Gates and was previously a partner at Reed Smith.

Reck earned her bachelor’s degree in English from Illinois State University and her J.D. from USC. She also clerked after law school for the Honorable Ronald S.W. Lew, U.S. District Court, Central District of California.
