Brandon Tolentino is vice president of Wildfire and Business Resiliency at Southern California Edison, an organization established in January 2026 to advance public safety and reduce wildfire risk. In this role, he oversees all efforts to strengthen grid resiliency, integrate innovative technologies and enhance emergency preparedness across SCE’s service area.
Previously, Tolentino served as director of Distribution Engineering within System Planning & Engineering, where he led the Restoration and Rebuild project management team. His efforts supported communities impacted by the 2025 Eaton and Palisades fires through grid hardening and undergrounding initiatives.
With extensive utility experience, including leadership roles at SCE since 2008 and engineering positions at Pacific Gas and Electric, Tolentino brings a proven track record in engineering, planning and operations. He also serves on the Dean's Advisory Council for California State University Long Beach, College of Engineering, providing industry insights to help shape future programs.
Tolentino earned his bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, and is a registered professional engineer in California.
