Connor Flanigan is vice president of Enterprise Risk Management and Insurance, and general auditor at Southern California Edison, one of the nation’s largest electric utilities, and its parent company, Edison International.
Flanigan is responsible for the company’s risk management, public safety and insurance programs, from strategic direction to oversight and monitoring. He is also responsible for oversight of the company’s internal audits department and the execution of its internal audit function.
Flanigan held several leadership positions, prior to joining SCE in 2007. He has been managing director of State Regulatory Operations, director of operational and IT audits, director of the CEO’s office, senior attorney in the Legal Department, and principal advisor of federal regulatory affairs in SCE’s Washington, D.C. office. Before joining SCE, Flanigan practiced as an associate attorney at Bryan Cave LLP and served as a law clerk to the Honorable Manuel L. Real in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California.
Flanigan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and English from the University of California, Irvine, and a Juris Doctor from the Notre Dame Law School.
