Larry Chung is vice president, Customer Solutions at Southern California Edison (SCE), one of the nation’s largest electric utilities. His role includes key functions in the Customer Engagement Division and Customer Programs and Services. He oversees SCE’s relationships with its major industrial, commercial and governmental customers. In addition to driving clean energy program adoption, he leads cross-functional initiatives to improve efficiency and serves as executive sponsor for the company’s Major Events Advanced Planning Group, which includes preparations for the World Cup (’26), Super Bowl (’27) and LA28 Olympic Games.

Most recently, Chung served first as vice president of the Customer Engagement Division at SCE. Prior to that, he was vice president of Local Public Affairs also at SCE, where he led the company’s efforts to build strong relationships with local governments and community leaders. Before that, he was director of Global External Affairs and Government Relations for the Walt Disney Company, where he oversaw domestic and international policy and stakeholder engagement strategy across Disney Parks, Experiences and Products. He previously led philanthropic efforts and local strategic initiatives for Disneyland Resort, focusing on community engagement in Orange County, California.

Chung formerly held senior agency roles and specialized in large-scale corporate legislative and public affairs campaigns. Earlier in his career, Chung worked in local and state government in California, focusing on energy policy and promoting electric vehicle infrastructure installations statewide.

Chung maintains his commitment to building strong communities through service on several local nonprofit boards, including PBS Southern California and APIs Mobilize. He is also a trustee for the University of California, Riverside.

He is a native of Southern California, earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Riverside, a Master of Business Administration in finance from the UCLA Anderson School of Management and is a graduate of the Coro Fellows Program in public affairs.
